Royal Blend by Bottos is a mixture of professional-type American ryegrass with rapid germination, created specifically for the regeneration and overseeding of lawns in gardens, parks, sports fields and golf courses, with a dark green color and fine leaf texture.

At full maturity, it is very dense, dark, fine, uniform and resistant to trampling and traffic. Tolerant towards the fungal diseases of Mal Bianco, Filo Rosso, Dollar Spot, Gray Leaf Spot and Microdochium Nivale.

Usage Tips:

Sowing and Dosage

Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 10°C). The dosage is 30-40 g/m2 in classic situations reaching up to 80-100 g/m2 in technical overseeding. The maximum doses are recommended in case of high temperatures and/or imperfect tillage of the seed bed. We recommend using lawn soil.

Cut

Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 6-8 cm. Then when using traditional rotary lawnmowers, progressively bring the shaving to 35 mm. For lower cuts, refer only to the helical cut. Royal Blend is suitable for mulch and robot cutting. Never remove more than 30% of the vegetation present.

Irrigation

When sowing and reseeding, keep the soil constantly moist until complete germination. On a mature lawn, in the summer period irrigate with 7 mm of water every 2 days. If possible, schedule a 1-2 mm thermal irrigation every day around 11:00 am (cooling) during the months of July and August.

Nutrition

Phosphate fertilization at sowing and then plan 4-6 fertilizations per year with at least 30 units of nitrogen m2/year and increase to 40 units of nitrogen m2/year in the case of highly managed sports greenery. During the year, control phosphorus-based supplies to avoid the proliferation of Poa Annua. Also plan 4 biostimulant treatments to increase tolerance to trampling and heat.
